It’s in our name

Indigenous people throughout human history have known the Raven as a powerful symbol. Raben is Raven in German, so we asked Isabella Corser, native New Yorker and rising artist, to draw our very own raven, which now adorns selected items all through the collection.

“I was little more than 8 days old, when my mother took me to Bali, and I grew up between Bali, New York and Greece, where my father lives,” says Isabella.

“The juxtaposition is an obvious inspiration to a restless soul like mine. One minute I live and breathe art, and the next yearn for nature and free spaces. I guess that accounts for all the birds and little insects in my pictures.”
